    Job Description/Responsibilities The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each flight. The Pilot is the face of fly ADVANCED providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation but also providing an exceptional service experience for every fly ADVANCED Owner and passenger. The Pilot is expected to effectively wear many hats resulting in a concierge service level experience with roles ranging from professional aviator to in-flight service provider. The Pilot is in full command of the aircraft at all times and must always maintain a professional demeanor. Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacture's (OEM) Checklists, fly ADVANCED Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOP's). Greets Owners/passengers pre-flight, makes introductions and briefs them on the specific flight/trip and verifies itinerary/provides passengers with weather updates and safety briefings and explains any changes to itinerary. Shall brief the Second-in-Command on normal and emergency procedures. Is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of those general subjects and aircraft-related information, which will enhance his overall competency, ability and professionalism, and apply that knowledge to his job. Makes every effort to ensure an on-time departure Must be able to handle and conduct flights with pets and those who smoke. Act as the final authority on his/her aircraft with respect to all areas of operation including compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance. Acts as a liaison for Owners/ passengers from the time the fly ADVANCED owners/passengers arrive at the FBO until they have safely landed at their destination and have departed the final FBO. Responsible for properly communicating any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller on duty for their fleet. Additionally, must properly complete any paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies. Other duties dependent on assignment. Qualifications/Skills FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) First Class Medical Certificate Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to work varying hours including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must be extremely flexible and demonstrate the ability to adjust to rapid changes. Must be able to manage his or her rest to be always prepared for flight duty during their tour. Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges. Must be able to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening, secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges. Must have a valid United States passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions. Must have a valid State driver's license. Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Must be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression including a strong capability to effectively interact with passengers. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: UAS Responsibilities: * Complete all work with SAFETY being the first priority. * Follow all Orbital and customer safety policies. * Pilot & Sensor Operator able to safely fly UASs in accordance with FAA Part 107 regulations. * Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and experienced UAS operators, including classroom instruction, hands-on training, and simulation exercises. * Mentor and evaluate trainees, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge * Maintain and update training materials and curriculum to reflect industry developments and best practices. * Support research and development initiatives by providing operational insights and participating in test flights and evaluations. * Be familiar with software to process UAS collected data * Understand & follow the Scope of Work (SOW), collecting required data. * Ensure all work is completed within the allotted schedule & meets applicable expectations and quality standards, and performance requirements set by customer & Orbital. * Interface directly with the project management, sales & operations support staff. Manage projects, time & tasks using our project management tools. * Ensure all work is carried out safely and within Orbital, OSHA & customer safety guidelines. * Attend industry training & maintain currency in product certifications as required. * Conduct & act professionally and always be well-groomed & presentable. * Stay current with advancements in UAS technology and regulations, attending professional development opportunities and industry events. * Ensure all drone maintenance activities are completed per Orbital's and the drone manufacturer's requirements. * Developing and submitting FAA Waivers (FAA Drone Zone), BVLOS, understanding of sUAS, ROVs and other advanced technology * Daily manpower scheduling and resource planning * Coordinate and ensure proper tracking of Orbital owned equipment * Up to 75% travel will be required * Minimum Requirements * High School Diploma required.
