Program Overview
PSA is one of the first regional airlines to launch its Cadet Program to help the most promising future pilots make a smooth transition from the classroom to the cockpit. The Cadet Program initiative is just one other way PSA Airlines offers the most comprehensive benefits to its pilots. Your eligibility begins once you complete your Private Pilot Certificate.
Successfully complete an interview with PSA to become a Cadet in the program.
Cadets are offered numerous opportunities, including mentorship with airline industry experts and
internships.
Upon completion of your Senior Cadet Interview, you are eligible for tuition reimbursement paid to you as follows:
$7,500 after the Senior Cadet Interview
$7,500 at time building (when they are within 500 hours of ATP minimums)
Total: $15,000
ATP-CTP Course paid upon reaching ATP/R-ATP minimum flight experience requirements.
PSA will pay for the ATP-CTP course (valued at $5,000) for qualified candidates needing to complete the ATP written exam prior to new hire training.
Hotel accommodations and ground transportation during the ATP-CTP course will be provided.
Get placed into the next available class at PSA upon reaching minimums, no additional interview
required.
Flow-through to American Airlines with no additional interview, once completing requirements at PSA.
Interview Process
Interview process is broken down into 3 sections:
Section 1 - HR Interview - Cadet
Section 2 - Technical Evaluation - Senior Cadet
Section 3 - Cadet Instructor Check-in and Logbook review - Cadet Instructor
Qualifications
Must have at least a private pilot certificate
Must be a current flight student OR CFI, actively instructing
No more than three check ride failures
No accident or incident determined by the NTSB to be negligent on behalf of the pilot/aviator
Ability to obtain a First-Class Medical
Ability to obtain a Valid Passport
Ability to obtain FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
Must be able to meet the necessary hours and qualification under the ATP requirements or the restricted ATP requirements
Cadets eligible for a R-ATP (1000 or 1250 hours), must have no more than 700 hours
Cadets requiring ATP (1500 hours), must have no more than 1200 hours
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US

As a Pilot Driver you will be responsible for escorting wide load, long distance fiberglass swimming pool deliveries. In addition, the Pilot Driver is responsible for assisting in the load and unload of pools from a production facility to final destination. The position escorts the CDL Driver delivering the wide load to its final destination by monitoring traffic, directing the CDL Driver and assuring clear distance from obstacles while moving through radio communication with the CDL Driver. This position is subject to random drug testing.
Some of What You Will Do:
1. Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned pilot vehicle
2. Read and follow state permits to safely escort CDL driver to destination
3. May assist in securing load prior to departure as requested
4. Properly communicate with the CDL Driver regarding traffic and other obstacles
5. Check weather conditions and road reports before departure. Make safety a priority at all times and drive according to the weather/road conditions
6. Ensure compliance with all Company policy and procedures as well as Department of Transportation and state regulations regarding escorting and vehicle and traffic laws. This includes but is not limited to proper use of lights, signs, flags, fire extinguishers, etc.
7. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic/roadside inspection violations, near misses, injuries and/or damage to the vehicles immediately

Summary
The Chief Pilot will be responsible for leading the Weisiger Group aviation department. Operate the aircraft according to all applicable aviation regulations and company policies.
Ensure compliance with all FAA, TSA, and company safety regulations for both domestic and international travel.
Maintenance and Aircraft Management:
Assess the current third party maintenance providers and provide feedback on their capabilities, responsiveness, pricing, and overall service level.
Oversee the routine and preventive maintenance schedules for the aircraft, working closely with third-party service providers and engine warranty company to reduce downtime.
Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize disruption to the business without compromising on quality or safety.
Maintain accurate logs of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare a 5-year forecast of anticipated maintenance expense that can be used for budgeting and benchmarking.
Review, analyze, and challenge (when necessary) invoices related to service, cleaning, hanger, insurance, and operating expense for the aircraft.

One-year professional driving experience; pilot/escort driving experience preferred

Summary
The Chief Pilot will be responsible for leading the Weisiger Group aviation department. In this capacity, this person will ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a Lear 75 and will be responsible for satisfying other private flight needs that may arise. The Chief Pilot will oversee flight planning, scheduling, ground logistics, aircraft maintenance, and will lead a team of two full-time pilots and several per diem pilots. This role combines technical aviation expertise with leadership and administrative oversight to ensure smooth operations, safety compliance, and an excellent passenger experience.
Essential Functions
* Flight Operations and Planning:
* Plan, prepare, and execute flight schedules, including pre-flight briefings, route planning, fuel calculations, and contingency planning.
* Conduct thorough flight briefings with passengers and crew to ensure the safety and comfort of all aboard.
* Operate the aircraft according to all applicable aviation regulations and company policies.
* Ensure compliance with all FAA, TSA, and company safety regulations for both domestic and international travel.
* Maintenance and Aircraft Management:
* Assess the current third party maintenance providers and provide feedback on their capabilities, responsiveness, pricing, and overall service level.
* Oversee the routine and preventive maintenance schedules for the aircraft, working closely with third-party service providers and engine warranty company to reduce downtime.
* Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize disruption to the business without compromising on quality or safety.
* Maintain accurate logs of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Prepare a 5-year forecast of anticipated maintenance expense that can be used for budgeting and benchmarking.
* Review, analyze, and challenge (when necessary) invoices related to service, cleaning, hanger, insurance, and operating expense for the aircraft.
* Scheduling and Administrative Support:
* Develop and maintain a flight schedule that aligns with business needs, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal usage of the aircraft.
* Manage flight crew scheduling and ensure coverage for all flights.
* Administer flight documentation, including flight logs, expense reports, and other necessary records.
* Track and report on flight hours and ensure compliance with regulatory flight hour limitations.
* Leadership and Team Management:
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three pilots, providing guidance on flight safety, technical procedures, and professional development.
* Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for the flight crew, ensuring clear communication and teamwork.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to pilot team members.
* Safety and Compliance:
* Ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained at all times, with a focus on risk management and safety culture.
* Stay current on all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
* Act as a liaison for safety audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks.
* Ensure pilots (permanent and per-diem) are up to date on required training.

Education and/or Experience
* FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (ATP preferred)
* Minimum of 15 years of experience flying corporate jets or similar aircraft
* Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, flight planning, and aircraft maintenance procedures
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead a team
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
* Must be willing to travel frequently and have flexible availability
