Position Summary
This is a full-time position with the hours being Monday: 7:30am - 6:00pm, Tuesday: 7:30am - 5:00pm, and Wednesday - Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm.
Primarily responsible for completing activities within the Distribution Center Inbound functional areas (inventory receiving and stocking). Inbound duties entail Parcel Receiving, Freight Receiving, Small Parts Receiving, and Put Away. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with Outbound duties (Picking, Small Parcel Shipping, Freight Shipping, Customer Service, and Pickup Counter) when primary duties have been completed. Emphasis is placed on supporting positive Same Day Service outcomes through meeting established attendance, safety, accuracy, and production standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Unload trailers for parcel and freight deliveries. Route and group shipments as appropriate to maintain organization.
Review and inspect packages, follow current protocol upon discovered damage.
Sign for deliveries following verified quantities.
Unbox items, verify items against packing lists and system according to procedure. Receive into our system, place stock in our inventory.
Complete administrative tasks affiliated with daily duties including updating shared calendar with deliveries and vendor write ups for discrepancies.
Assist with Outbound tasks when daily Inbound tasks have been completed.
Pick orders using established double-check procedures. Organize orders on a cart to prepare for Shipping.
Double-check picked orders in accordance with current procedure.
Carefully and appropriately package orders in suitable size boxes with proper dunnage.
Process shipment and apply shipping labels and packing list.
Apply appropriate hazmat label(s) when required.
Accurately palletize large shipments and secure load for safe freight transport including using auto stretch wrap machine. Review, print, and sign Bill of Lading for carrier.
Support Same-Day-Service goals by maintaining established safety, accuracy, and production standards and benchmarks.
Demonstrate consistent and predictable attendance.
Maintain a positive approach and attitude by working effectively and constructively with others.
Communicate progress, errors, system issues, misaligned procedures, and other problems to team lead or supervisor.
Participate in cross-training opportunities in other functional areas.
Provide performance data (or other administrative requirements) from work completed as needed.
Replenish workstation and other areas as needed to maintain good housekeeping and to provide a safe, clean, organized, efficient, and pleasant work environment.
Be prepared for and participate in additional training, feedback, and meetings.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma, or equivalent.
Experience working in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Education and Experience
Forklift experience a plus.
Familiarity with freight shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
1+ years of experience as a DC Outbound Associate, or equivalent.
Qualifications
Experience using standard warehouse equipment including box cutters, tape guns/machines, computers, telephones, copiers, printers, and fax machines.
Skilled in operating basic tools and equipment including a hand truck, pallet jack, and various small hand tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics and RF Smart, and / or barcoding.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with minimal travel outside of the department.
