The Warehouse Technician supports all departments by ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and stocked. They inventory and maintain the use and repair of warehouse and job site equipment. The Warehouse Technician will prepare, receive, order, and export warehouse deliveries, including job site content and consumables. The Warehouse Technician will be licensed to operate a forklift and/or scissor-lift and assist with content manipulation (on and off-site) when requested. Food (SQF) policies and procedures * Immediately informs a supervisor or manager of any potential safety threats. * Inform supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or product description or issues with product location. * Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety standards. * Inspects assigned jack for safety issues. * Position Duties and Responsibilities: * Follow instructions from RF computer and pick orders accordingly. * Properly build a stable and well cubed pallet based on warehouse regulations. * Pick an average of 100 packages per hour by 90th day of employment. * Safely navigate through the warehouse, keep a free accident record. * Maintain clean work environment in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Examine and inspect stock items for defects, report any damages to supervisors. * Carefully transport product from one location to another location. * Ensure item pick accuracy and safety of product to prevent damage. * Keep all assigned equipment free of damages. * Maintain an idle time of less than an hour (30 minute break, 15 minute paid break) Education: * High School Diploma/GED * Must be able to read and understand instructions from RF computer. Experience: * Warehouse and produce experience a plus but not required * Ability to operate pump jack/walk behind preferred but not required Physical Requirements: You will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and reading from pick slip. Job Summary - A loose pick conducts outbound orders using WMS Microsoft AX and RF -Smart scanners. Liable for processing orders in a timely matter to maintain service levels to help ensure quality and to prevent any charge backs. Responsible for pulling and assembling orders. Regularly communicate with Shipping Supervisor and Shipping Lead to prevent any issues or setbacks that will delay or affect any orders from being shipped on time. Responsibilities Pick pieces from the shelves according to item and qty indicated on handheld gun. Double check the items and pieces that were physically picked to ensure they match the order that was picked. Box the order and adhere shipping labels Inform the shipping supervisor or leads if there are any problems with misplaced items, wrong packaging, or any other issues that affect the picking process. Read the shipping instruction on packing list and check outbound cheat sheet for special instructions. Picker is responsible for each order they picked including request from other areas such as case pack and bulk location. Scan orders using the RF Scanner for closing and shipping. Labeling special account such as Nordstrom, Kohls, Saks, etc. Chipboard boxes must be lined up neatly with item label facing out to ensure that the correct item is being picked.
