The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

Your Day at Lowe's

At Chesterton, we have a laser focus on our customers. The Component Picker/Packer supports our customers by correctly picking components used in our mechanical seal assemblies and then packaging the completed seal assemblies for our customers.
Job Model: On-Site
All fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.
Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.
On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.
A typical day at work would include:
* Consults Bill of Material lists and correctly determines parts needed to pick for seal assemblies or Spare Part Kits.
* Packs completed assembly orders and double checks order accuracy using material lists.
* Retrieves component parts from inventory.
* Performs simple quality control inspection to validate fit and function.
* Identifies components that may be defective and isolates them for quality control rework as required.
* Identifies and selects appropriate packaging for each assembled seal in accordance with the shop order.
* Consults shop order and hand-writes date, lot number, and other designated information onto the packaging label.
* Stores and retrieves materials as required.
* Maintains clean and efficient assembly bench in work area.
