Job Description The Hospitalist is expected to provide clinical care for patients admitted at our affiliated hospitals, provide support to our surgical and specialty services through consultative general internal medicine practice. Schedule Opportunities for this position: Monday-Friday and every 3rd weekend Block 7 on 7 off 22 shifts a month. Primary Functions: Responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and clinical management of patients in the acute facility. This is inclusive of performing histories and physicals, as well as, conducting physical examinations. The Physician is an administrative and operational role that will provide exceptional medical care to patients by conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing patient treatment plans.
