The Child Protection Team is a Florida-statutory mandated program to assist the Department of Children and Families (DCF) during the investigation of suspected child maltreatment. The CPT is available on a 24-hour basis and provides a unique array of services for over 1,500 children (birth to eighteen) a year in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.
