The PT - Physical Therapist provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
* Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
* One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
* CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Specific Job Requirements:
* Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
* Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needs
* Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
* Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
* Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
* Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department

Our Physical Therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities for patients experiencing injuries or disease. Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on patient needs, treatment modifications, and progress including preparing plan for discharge.
Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.
Requirements for consideration:
A minimum of 2 (two) years' experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Current state license as a Physical Therapist in good standing is required.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.

The Crisis Therapist provides counseling and therapy services to clients with substance use (SUD) and/or mental health disorders engaged with Crisis Services. This position works as part of the interdisciplinary Crisis Services team. The Crisis Therapist is primarily responsible for completing assessments, screening tools, clinical documentation, diagnoses, and discharge coordination with mobile crisis and crisis center clients, but will be cross-trained to provide individual and group therapy under the structured framework of state and federal law, the counseling and/or social work code of ethics, and agency policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with clients throughout treatment to ensure that basic needs are addressed to allow the client to stabilize their crisis and achieve goals at discharge.
Assess, screen, de-escalate, refer, and provide other therapeutic services to clients at the Crisis Center or in the community via mobile crisis response.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in the Crisis Center, detox, residential, IOP, and other outpatient settings and programs as needed.
Crisis Services clients may exhibit a variety of physical/verbal behaviors and strong emotions. Utilize a trauma-responsive, client-centered, recovery-oriented, and strengths-based approach while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
Use Evidence-based Practice modalities according to fidelity, and work with Supervisor on learning and professional development related to Evidence-based Practices.

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with State and Federal Law, the counseling and social work code of ethics, and organizational policy and procedure.

Participate in Group and Individual Supervision as scheduled and needed based on current supervision plan.
Attend all mandatory/required trainings and meetings.

Job Summary
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for an Inpatient Rehab assignment at a rehabilitation facility and/or hospital unit in Taos, NM. The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient Rehab is to address a wide range of physical conditions that significantly impact a patient’s ability to function independently. The Physical Therapist (PT) interacts professionally with patients, employing various treatments and techniques to help them regain strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance.
Responsibilities
Help patients regain the ability to perform daily activities
Aim to increase muscle strength, improve endurance, and enhance overall physical fitness
Employ techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and improve overall comfort
Utilize stretching and range of motion exercises to help patients regain optimal joint mobility and flexibility
Focuses on enhancing balance, coordination, and proprioception to reduce the risk of falls and improve overall safety
Work closely with patients to help them regain independence in their daily activities
