QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Previous Pharmacy Tech experience is preferred. Experience in a retail/specialty pharmacy setting very helpful.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Answers inbound calls from patients, prescribers, payers, etc. and transfers callers to the correct team or department if unable to assist.
Makes outbound calls to patients, prescribers, and pharmacovigilance groups as required.
Enters data in computer system, recording all prescriptions, patient medication profiles, pre-call assessments, progress notes, etc. as required.
Participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement and Quality activities.
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
When AnovoRx has written agreements with manufacturers for pharmacovigilance services, then as to such services participates in Pharmacovigilance training as required, receives reporters' call concerning adverse events, product complaints and medical inquiries as required, alerts pharmacists that reporters have made reports, and otherwise assists with fulfillment of contracted pharmacovigilance obligations.
Certified pharmacy technicians may also:(a) Receive new or transferred oral medical and prescription orders;(b) Receive and transfer copies of oral medical and prescription orders between pharmacy practice sites.
Pharmacy technicians must wear appropriate identification showing name and appropriate title (e.g., pharmacy technician, certified pharmacy technician).
All pharmacy technician functions shall be performed under the supervision of a pharmacist, who shall direct and verify the accuracy of all pharmacy technician functions.
A registered technician shall maintain his or her registration certificate at the pharmacy practice site; additionally, all certified technicians shall display in like manner evidence of certification. Pharmacy technicians shall always possess, while on duty, proof of registration and proof of certification, if applicable.
All registered technicians shall immediately notify the board in writing of any change of address or employer.
Regular and reliable attendance expected.
Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Minimum Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Required
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year experience in retail or specialty pharmacy
A current unrestricted state technician and national CPhT certification must be evidenced prior to and during employment.
Must be willing and able to work any dedicated 8-hour AnovoRx shift between the hours of 7am-7pm.
Must be willing and able to work onsite on your regularly scheduled shift Monday-Friday, if applicable.
Must have good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Must present professionally on the phone and in person.
Able to conduct repetitive motions of answering phones and keying.
Adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations.

Understand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss including tendering electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT and Gift Cards, as well as cash and check transactions
Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement
Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company's policies regarding the same
Support company health and wellness initiatives
Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries
