Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Pharmacy Resident, you will participate in routine age appropriate drug therapy monitoring and provision of pharmaceutical care, including medication histories, basic pharmacokinetic monitoring, discharge counseling, and preparation of and dispensing of medications. You will serve as a resource person for medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff. You will also direct and participate in the research/development of new services, systems and skills within the Department of Pharmacy and the presentation of results at local, regional and national pharmacy meetings.

You will maintain a competency in dispensing pharmacy practice, computer skills, as well as the maintenance of and further development of clinical pharmacy skills and pharmaceutical care

You will continuously monitors clinical and distributive pharmacy systems and makes improvements as needed
You will assume authority, accountability and responsibility for the formal and informal direction of others

You will perform drug therapy monitoring, patient consultation and other activities associated with the provision of pharmaceutical care

What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) accredited school of pharmacy
