Responsibilities include assisting the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Clinic and Alliance network providers and staff in developing and coordinating a wide range of self-management support and chronic-care management activities for the clinic's affected patient population. What to Expect: Review appropriateness of prescribed medication therapy. Provide medication information and consultation to patients, nurses and medical staff. Interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications. Supervise and authorize the work of technicians, externs, interns and support staff. Prepare and maintains all necessary records on medication therapy, prescriptions, patient charges, medical records and inventory. Perform cognitive clinical pharmacy services and document findings and actions in accordance with standards of the medical center. Administer medications as appropriate. Administer vaccinations as appropriate. What you'll do... Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records as required by Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines. Maintains merchandise presentation in the Pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
