The Part-time Pharmacist provides professional pharmacy services to CCHS patients in addition to supervising the technical employees when working. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Delegates to pharmacy staff members the filling of prescriptions and administrative tasks, and then supervises their completion and accuracy. * Counsels patients and maintains computerized confidential patient records of drug therapies to prevent harmful drug interaction. Answers patients' questions and provides information on medications and health. * Provides oversight for cash collections for the shift worked. * Serves as liaison between patients and medical providers in order to catch and prevent prescription errors. * Maintains inventory of supplies and places orders, as appropriate. * Complies with federal and state requirements and regulations. * Performs other duties, as required. * Position is part time, 20 hours per week, schedule is flexible. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: Degree in Pharmacy Experience: Minimum of 6 months working in a community retail pharmacy.
