The Coordination Specialist answers incoming telephone calls, emails, and faxed communications from local employers and employees needing assistance with personal health care navigation for primary care, specialty care, and procedures. Works with Communications Center and Corporate Care Team Lead to coordinate call intake process and flow. The specialist will develop relationships with provider scheduling staff for optimal results and customer service. Specialist will collect appropriate data using a customer relationship management system, report results, schedule appointments and services for clients/patients, obtains pre-certifications for necessary procedures and services and ensures accuracy of documentation prior to forwarding to appropriate party. Specialist must ensure superior customer satisfaction and increasing revenue by effectively routing referral patterns inside the health system. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Health Business Development. Qualifications Education: Associates or Bachelor Degree Experience: Prior customer service, health services, health insurance, care management, scheduling, and/or related experience.
