Responsibilities:
Dog walking: Visit our client's homes to walk or play with their dog for their requested amount of time.
Pet sitting: Visit our client's homes to walk, feed, play, and care for their pets while they are away. These may be multiple visits per day &/or per week.
Overnight sitting: Spend the night in our client's homes; starts at 9 PM and ends at 7 AM. Bedtime walk and routine is completed along with morning walk, breakfast, and routine being completed in the morning before leaving.
Requirements | Employees must:

The Personal Care Specialist's Essential Duties Are:
Our STNAs are titled "Personal Care Specialist" because they are valued for their expertise in taking care of the patient's personal needs with dignity, compassion and empathy. You could become a Personal Care Specialist that provides quality nursing assistance to patients, assists the family with the care of the patient and works with a team that relies on your input from the close relationship you develop with the patient. The Unit Coordinator position would be responsible for Hospice House communications between staff and patients, and facilitation of the admission and transfer process for patients entering and leaving the Hospice House and maintaining medical records
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED;
Certified State Tested Nursing Assistant with the State of Ohio without any board actions;
one year of experience preferred;
Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) preferred, required within two years of employment;
Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.

Position Overview: The Pet Pro is a position within the Resort and reports directly to the General Manager. A successful candidate for this position will be someone who not only embraces this culture, but is a team player, self-motivated, takes direction well, has excellent communication skills, and great attention to detail. This is a service-related industry, and you should not only be skilled at customer service, but passionate about helping people. You'll work in our Daycare and Boarding areas to care and ensure the safety of the guests in our facility. Not only will you focus on handling dogs + cats all day, but on the cleanliness of the facility.
A Day in the Life: As a Pet Pro, you are part of a larger team who is focused on the daily pet care of our guests. You'll report to work over a variety of shifts to handle everything from walking dogs, giving them a potty break, feeding and administering medicines, cleaning their rooms, playing with dogs + cats and even loving them as if they were your own. One day you could help our overnight guests feel like this is their palace away from home and the next day you might run the daycare play group and make sure everyone is getting along. You might snuggle a shy pup who needs some extra special attention while also helping a regular get right back into the swing of things. You'll not only communicate with the dog(s), but also have a lot of interaction with mom and dad. You'll document what you are seeing and be ready to share with your manager and the pet parent. And let's not forget -- you're probably going to scoop some poop, clean up some pee, go home with some fur on you and get lots of sloppy kisses!
Responsibilities:
Ensure that each guest is treated with respect and dignity.
Ensure that all guests are receiving appropriate amounts of food and water, clean and sanitize food/water bowls on a daily basis.
Clean up dog poop, urination and any vomit several times throughout your shift.
Walk dogs on leash to and from outside exercise areas.
Engage in play activities with pets including ; fetch, exercise walks, chase, agility, follow the leader, recall and basic obedience games, etc.
Supervise activities of multiple dogs throughout the day.
Monitor closely for any potential conflicts or escalations and redirect or remove one or more dogs from the situation as needed.
Maintain a sanitary and healthy environment by following our standards of cleaning and disinfecting rooms.
Monitor guest's health by daily charting of eating and elimination habits. Dispose of and clean up any stool and urine.
Monitor guest's reaction to playtimes and general demeanor by charting playtime interactions.
Follow all standards of safety with regards to handling guests, particularly aggressive guests and escape artists.
Pay specific attention to special handling notes, (Meds Person to Feed, Aggressive, Separate for Feeding, etc.)
Immediately alert front staff and resort manager when a guest is ill or exhibiting odd behavior and follow-up by filling out illness form and turning it into a shift lead/manager.
Operate washer and dryer to clean pet belongings, towels, etc. Ensure belongings are returned to the appropriate pet.
Ensure the facility meets or exceeds our expectations with regards to cleanliness and safety. Clean and sanitize all pet enclosures, exercise yards, and common areas.Mix and use disinfectants and other chemicals safely as instructed by the supervisor.
Alert manager when levels of inventory are low in the following areas:
Pet foods
Cleaning products for kenneling and lobby areas.
Help maintain the cleanliness of the property by picking up and disposing of trash or debris. Keep aisles, drains, carts, shelves, sinks, floors, furniture, counters and glass clean, sanitary and free of clutter/debris. Empty and sanitize trash cans and receptacles.
Alert manager of any safety or operational issues ie: broken guillotine doors, burnt-out lights, not enough salt for snowy areas, etc.
Keep informed of important notices, meetings, etc. by consulting the "Guest Services Command Center" .
Consult with other departments.
Work with a team who all exemplify these qualities:
A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and cats. Willing to learn animal behavior to ensure their safety.
Focuses on safe and gentle handling. Forceful, aversive, aggressive handling, vocalizing or treatment will not be tolerated.

Responsibilities:
Dog walking: Visit our client's homes to walk or play with their dog for their requested amount of time.
Pet sitting: Visit our client's homes to walk, feed, play, and care for their pets while they are away. These may be multiple visits per day &/or per week.
Overnight sitting: Spend the night in our client's homes; starts at 9 PM and ends at 7 AM. Bedtime walk and routine is completed along with morning walk, breakfast, and routine being completed in the morning before leaving.
Requirements | Employees must:
Live within or adjacent to our service area. [45208, 45209, 45212, 45213, 45226, 45227, 45230, 45236, & 45243, 45244] Please note that we do NOT service downtown Cincinnati at this time.
Be physically fit and able to work and commute in all types of weather (this is a VERY active position that requires hours of energy, even on rainy, snowy, or humid and hot days).
Have access to a reliable vehicle you are insured to drive and have a valid driver's license.
Be 100% reliable. (Stay At Home Pet Services sitters do their best to cover in case of emergencies, but this is not a job where “calling out sick” is tolerated, as the pets in your care depend on you.)
Have the ability to communicate effectively with Stay At Home Pet Services, fellow employees, and clients by returning emails, phone calls, and text messages promptly.
Be able to provide professional references.
Provide a current and clean background check to Stay At Home Pet Services. (We will provide you with the link to have your background check completed. The cost is paid for by you, but will be reimbursed to you after you fulfill your 6-month commitment.)
Complete online Pet First Aid Training. (This is of no cost to you.)
Must be available AM/PM and at least 2 weekends per month.

Here is what we ask you to do:
Between the hours of 2 to 8pm you will be asked to walk up to 3 dogs at once, privately. We don't "pack walk" with multiple families. You will also be responsible for checking on cats, dogs and sometimes other small 'pocket pets' in their homes, feeding them, loving on them, scooping cat litter, and ensuring their health and wellness are in 'purrfect' shape while they are in your care! We require regular updates to the office and our pet parents, so communication skills are very important!
This job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too! Most of our staff would say its the best job they've ever had!
How Much Can I Make?
Our Pet Care Specialists make up to $1,800.00 a month, part time (plus frequent tips and some bonuses) while caring for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens each week! For those that transition into Full time, they often make $2400!
Our staff report that this is the "best job ever" and "allows me enjoy outdoors, brainstorm my novel, while still enjoying and being mindful of the pets".
Hours are M-F 2pm- 8pm. We also get lots of morning, mid-day, and weekend requests too! So for those of you who want to extra and above, while lovin' on those pets, it's available!
