What your day will look like:
Coordinate with vendors and other cross functional team members to support product throughout its lifecycle (Photography, Copy, Assembly Instructions, etc.)
Analyze business trends, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations to the team
Enters data and manages product detail spreadsheets regarding cost, retail, dimensions, product features and benefits
Document process improvement initiatives to support learning and development effort for direct ship category of merchandise
Pattern competitors on-line and in the local market and report findings to the team
Act as liaison between vendors, Merchant teams, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders including accounts payable, IT, and customer care
Manage promotional sales events tasks such as: calendar management, vendor submissions, pricing file updates, feature product selection, and internal communication
Build and manage market schedule and vendor agendas for 3-4 markets annually
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

JOB SUMMARY

* While under supervision, performs full menu of bath, brush and grooming services and standalone services, such as nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services in accordance with PetSmart's bathing standards and procedures.
* Develop and display safe technical skills that will meet or exceed the company's minimum expectations.
* Recommends additional health and wellness solutions with Pet Parents based on pet's needs.
* Responsible for the pet parent experience and outcomes conducted in person, over the phone and at the sales register.
* Greets pet parents, answers their questions, and assists with making reservations in the salon.
* Conducts salon appointment reminder calls, maintains client records and consults with pet parents on services offered.

Position Summary: The Perinatal Care Coordination Specialist is accountable directly to the Perinatal Services Manager. This is a full-time position, based out of our Family Health and Birth Center in NE, DC.
Salary -

Highlighted Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains a case load of 130- 160 participants, providing care coordination services to ensure access to perinatal health and early child health services.
Conducts thorough assessment on all prenatal/postpartum patients utilizing OB Authorization form, Healthy Screening tools (HITS, 4P's, PHQ-9, Edinburgh). Follows up and refers patient appropriately based on risk.
Provides health education to patients in variety of settings, with an emphasis of increasing understanding of healthy pregnancy, self- management of care and the health systems
Develops care plans with designated periods with particular emphasis on risk factors, including but not limited to social needs, barriers to care, pregnancy planning, and food insecurity.
Ensures all prenatal and postpartum patients utilize referrals provided through regular reminder calls. Assists with provider appointments, including but not limited to, following up/rescheduling of missed appointments, and ensuring access to care.
Works with Enrollment Specialists to ensure that patients are enrolled in medical insurance. Ensures patients are connected to their Managed Care Organizations case management services department.
Thoroughly documents all patient interactions in eCW and/or the Healthy Start database within 2-3 business days and other systems per HIPAA and departmental policies and procedures.
Provides breastfeeding support to include assessing latching and feeding process, providing corrective interventions, counseling mothers, understanding and applying knowledge of milk production and other commonly encountered situations.
Recruits program participants from the Conway Health and Resource Center and Family Health and Birth Center with focus on Wards 5, 7, and 8.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
B.A./B.S. in social work or education or equivalent experience required.
Experience providing social services, care coordination or health care education required.

Responsibilities:
Ensure that each guest is treated with respect and dignity.
Ensure that all guests are receiving appropriate amounts of food and water, clean and sanitize food/water bowls on a daily basis.
Clean up dog poop, urination and any vomit several times throughout your shift.
Walk dogs on leash to and from outside exercise areas.
Engage in play activities with pets including ; fetch, exercise walks, chase, agility, follow the leader, recall and basic obedience games, etc.
Supervise activities of multiple dogs throughout the day.
Monitor closely for any potential conflicts or escalations and redirect or remove one or more dogs from the situation as needed.

Alert manager when levels of inventory are low in the following areas:
Pet foods
Cleaning products for kenneling and lobby areas.
Help maintain the cleanliness of the property by picking up and disposing of trash or debris. Keep aisles, drains, carts, shelves, sinks, floors, furniture, counters and glass clean, sanitary and free of clutter/debris. Empty and sanitize trash cans and receptacles.
Alert manager of any safety or operational issues ie: broken guillotine doors, burnt-out lights, not enough salt for snowy areas, etc.
Keep informed of important notices, meetings, etc. by consulting the "Guest Services Command Center" .
Consult with other departments.

Groom Tech key responsibilities include:
* Delighting Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
* Learning and demonstrating all the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
* Always ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
* Developing long-term relationships with Neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy.
* Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting.
* Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
* Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
PAWsome Groom Tech candidates will have:
* Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required.
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
* Ability to review videos and take tests online.
* Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays.
* Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old.
