The 988 hotline will provide initial phone support to all callers and triage calls to the Sycamores Mobile Crisis Outreach Program for in-person support. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 7 days a week from 7:30pm to 8:30am, broken down by flexible shifts. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)will respond, in person, to provide timely support including crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self/ others, and gravely disabled write 51/50 holds as needed and provide follow up support. Carry a radio and/or pager as directed by supervisor to ensure prompt response to resident issues. Be familiar with the meaning and usage of common medical abbreviations, symbols and terms relative to the administration of medications as used by the residence, pharmacists and physicians. Demonstrate knowledge of infection control, i.e., adequate hand-washing, blood borne pathogens procedures, universal precautions, etc. Maintain all required licenses/certifications as required by state law. Report occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with the property's policies and procedures governing accidents and incidents. Provide support to community's marketing efforts through positive/friendly interaction during all property tours and telephone contact with the public, and as directed by a supervisor. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests, following established safety standards. Qualifications At least one (1) year experience successfully passing medications. Experience working with elderly clients preferred. Experience with handling medications preferred. Good physical health verified by a health screening, including a chest x-ray or an intradermal test result not more than 6 months prior or seven (7) days after employment.
