performing outpatient visits in assisted living communities for our Senior Living office, located in Sterling, VA. This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Tysons, VA.
As an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides outpatient services to clients affording them the opportunity to age in place.
Up to $2,500 sign on bonus available!
As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:
Have current licensure or certification in the state of VA
Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
Have two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
Have at least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Partners with the Regional Director of Resident Care and/or Executive Director in the delivery and participation in Sunrise University training and self-study programs.

Develops a working knowledge of state/provincial regulations and ensures compliance through supervising and coaching team members.
Completes clinical team member staffing and scheduling according to operational and budgetary guidelines when assigned to a community.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).

Qualifications

Job Summary: The Nuclear Med Technologist performs in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides. Doses patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physician's orders, and under the supervision of the radiologist “authorized user” in the Imaging Department.
