A book of business is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Litigation: Defend employers in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, and non-compete matters. Advisory Services: Provide business-focused legal counsel on workplace policies, employee handbooks, discipline, terminations, ADA accommodations, FMLA, and wage and hour compliance. Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement proactive legal strategies, training programs, and compliance initiatives to help clients avoid litigation. Strategic Growth: Play a leadership role in the firm's Employment Law practice, contributing to its development and identifying opportunities for expansion. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 7-15 years of experience in employment law, with a strong focus on management-side representation. Proven expertise in handling employment litigation and advising employers on proactive legal strategies. Strong interpersonal and client relationship-building skills. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Partner with a strong background in management-side representation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour (FLSA), and non-compete matters in both federal and state courts, as well as before the EEOC and OCRC. This role also involves providing strategic counsel to employers on workplace policies, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies designed to prevent litigation. A book of business is preferred but not required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Litigation: Defend employers in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, and non-compete matters.
  • Advisory Services: Provide business-focused legal counsel on workplace policies, employee handbooks, discipline, terminations, ADA accommodations, FMLA, and wage and hour compliance.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement proactive legal strategies, training programs, and compliance initiatives to help clients avoid litigation.
  • Strategic Growth: Play a leadership role in the firm's Employment Law practice, contributing to its development and identifying opportunities for expansion.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 7-15 years of experience in employment law, with a strong focus on management-side representation.
  • Proven expertise in handling employment litigation and advising employers on proactive legal strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and collaborate with attorneys at all levels.
