    We are looking for Medical Response Paramedics to join our Salt Lake City team! SALARY RANGE: $58,989/yr. - $94,126/yr. Under the supervision of a Salt Lake City Fire Department (SLCFD) Officer, and the direction of SLCFD's Medical Division personnel, these positions will provide basic emergency and advanced life support, medical care, and transport to victims of sudden illness and accident upon arrival on scene. The Medical Response Paramedics will not have firefighting related duties. Medical Response Paramedics (MRPs) will work alongside firefighter/EMTs, and social workers (Community Health Access Team) on the Medical Response Team. * The MRP will be assigned to either SLCFD Station 5 or Station 6. * The work week is 40 hours, with schedules of either Mon-Wed or Thurs-Sat. * The first day of each shift is 14 hours (7:30 am - 9:30 pm), and days two and three are 13 hours (7:30 am - 8:30 pm). These positions will be part of the Tier II Utah Firefighter Retirement System. Offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of a criminal background check in accordance with City policy and applicable law. Criminal offenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and do not automatically disqualify a candidate from City employment.
