The Business Restructuring and Insolvency Paralegal works effectively and collaboratively to provide organizational and substantive support to attorneys and paralegals in the Business Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Manage assigned cases and their related tasks and projects.
Perform full range of paralegal tasks from case inception through case closure.
Monitor court docket sheets for assigned cases and take ownership of case calendars.
Handle e-filing within the Federal Courts, specifically with both the U.S. Bankruptcy and the U.S District Courts.
Responsible for service, including coordination of service of documents upon required notice parties for Local and Federal Rules
Prepare drafts of notices, motions, fee applications and proofs of claims.
Bluebook and cite check briefs.
Prepare deposition notices, organizing, maintaining, and preparing deposition materials, exhibits and summaries.
Prepare excel charts, spreadsheets, and other summaries of various types of information.
Assemble, review, and analyze documents.
Manage information obtained during discovery; organize and maintain files in Document Management System.
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS required.
