Daily monitoring and handling of Legal Administration email mailbox.

Frost Brown Todd LLP , a national law firm with 1000+ legal and business professionals in eighteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time Paralegal to join our Indianapolis office. This position will primarily work with attorneys in the Product, Tort and Insurance Litigation Practice Group. Candidates should have 7+ years of litigation experience, including trial experience, and must be able to juggle multiple time-sensitive assignments. Candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, business acumen, outstanding attention to detail, and a teamwork focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyze sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, legal codes, etc.
Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc. for review, approval, and use by attorneys.
Investigate facts and law of case to determine causes of action and to prepare case accordingly.
Assist with the collection, review, summarization, and organization of electronic and paper discovery materials.
Prepare trial binders and other materials for case preparation.
File pleadings with court clerk personally and electronically.
Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document files.
Deliver or direct delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action.
Accurately record time worked and enter time and description into time and billing system.
Job Requirements:
An associate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field combined with an ABA-approved paralegal certificate or relevant experience in the area of specialization.
7+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong cite checking and proofreading skills.
Extraordinary attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to work well under tight deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task when needed.
Ability to work individually or in team environment.
