Job Description Summary:
The Paralegal will assist attorney(s) and our Contracts Specialist by providing clerical and research support services including, but not limited to, document preparation and review, filing, research, fact checking, discovery responses, and preparation and filing of legal documents.
Critical Job Functions:
* Conduct legal research and analysis using various online resources and databases.
* Manage and organize case files, including electronic documents, and physical evidence.
* Coordinate discovery, including drafting, and responding to discovery requests, organizing document production, and preparing for depositions.
* Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit preparation, and courtroom logistics.
* Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel.
* Assists with drafting and reviewing contracts for various suppliers, vendors and partners.
Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
* At least three (2) years of experience working in a paralegal function. Must have intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office that allows for efficient administration of programs.
* Experience with contracts and litigation, preferred.
* Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills working with multiple external and internal contacts including site / business contacts, Payroll, IT, Recruiting, and Legal.
* Must be a self-starter, extremely detail oriented, able to work independently and in a team environment, regularly meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation:
* The anticipated compensation for this role is $24.00 per hour - $31.25 per hour.
