The Oregon Board of Education will be employing up to four (4) temporary summer workers from the classified staff to assist in painting/general maintenance throughout the school district. Depending on the workload these positions may not be needed on a consistent basis. These positions do not qualify for holiday pay.
The work will be 8 hours per day, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will commence on May 26, 2024 or the next day after they finish their regular school position. The positions will end on the day before you return to your regular position. The pay will be at the maintenance sub rate, currently $13/hr. These employees will be permitted a total of three (3) no pay days during the summer, scheduled with the supervisor's approval.
Qualifications:
Have a good previous work record.
Be able to follow instructions, plan and organize work and work independently without supervision.
