Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment. Flush tanks, hoses and guns prior to color changeovers. Mix all types of paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity and consistency. Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as needed
Disassemble, clean, repair, adjust and reassemble painting equipment, such as pumps, paint heaters, tanks, spray guns, etc. for proper operation.
Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards. Demonstrate best practices to follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing of all models/products in assigned job function
Upkeep of work area and equipment which may include preventative maintenance tasks. Inspect product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are being met.
Sand, wash, and condition parts as necessary. Light bodywork may be required.
Inspection of completed parts for quality, validate components meet
Team member has the knowledge and skills to perform in every area of the paint process.
Assist training new team members on processes and equipment functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and executes work orders in a timely and professional manner
Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies
Inspects work for the highest quality

Follows all safety policies and procedures
Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
QUALIFICATIONS

Job Title: Painter / Finisher
Job Description:
A person in the position is responsible for prep, painting, staining, and finishing escape room props and sets in the production shop. Typical items include: escape room sets/props, cabinets, furniture, and metalwork - and may include additional in the future. This team member works closely with colleagues in CNC, Carpentry/Metal Fabrication, and Assembly. Additionally, this team member will coordinate closely with the Production Manager to ensure appropriate levels of supplies are maintained, inventoried, procured, and stored. As with all roles at our company, we expect our team members to be willing to bring flexibility and a positive attitude to their day-to-day work. If we need help packing a truck, we pack the truck. If the floors need sweeping, etc.
Must be a “Self Starter” who is able to operate independently once trained.
The first 30 days will be spent working day shift from 7:00AM-3:30PM for training purposes.

Job Responsibilities:
● Surface preparation - bondo/putty holes and seams, sanding
● Operate spray booth and sprayers
● Ability to apply a fine, durable finish
● Spray different finishes including lacquer, stain, shellac, and water-based poly and polyurethane
● Application of custom scenic treatments to make items aesthetically relevant to their intended environment
● Diligently tracks information in production management systems; executes systems and processes
● Quality checks all items before transferring to next stage of production
● Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
● Comply with all safety rules and regulations
