Mixes /color matches paints, stains, varnishes, and/or enamels to produce desired color. Nearly all paints and thinners are rated hazardous. Work area may contain fumes and dust. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, or high-lift equipment. Regularly stands, lifts, bends, stoops, lifts above shoulders and carries 50 lbs or more. Regular exposure to disagreeable conditions, extreme temperature changes, odors and loud noises. Job requirements include occasional use of respiratory equipment; therefore, an individual must be able to pass a medical exam to assure physical ability to wear, use, and perform work in respirator equipment. The employee in this position may be required to work overtime after 4 pm, and/or shift work when management deems necessary.
