Essential Accountabilities: * Performs repairs, modifications, replacements, and installations of sheet metal items to include heating, ventilating, and air conditioning ducts and equipment, exhaust hoods, grilles and diffusers, housings, cabinets, pitch cups, gutters, and other similar items. * Fabricates sheet metal items to include heating, ventilating, and air conditioning ducts and equipment; exhaust hoods; grilles and diffusers; housings; cabinets; pitch cups; gutters; and other similar items. * Maintains and operates hand tools and powered sheet metal fabricating equipment such as press brakes, shears, rollers, slitters, welding equipment and other similar items. * Develops sheet metal layouts according to design drawings, sketches and an analysis of the job site. * Performs other duties assigned.
