Responsibilities
* Paint both the exterior and interior of homes, common areas, and community offices and buildings.

Requirements

Requirements:

The Aircraft Painter is responsible for the striping and painting of aircraft and other aircraft related components. Ensures compliance with the procedures for the storage, disposal and usage of chemicals and hazardous materials used or generated in the process of aircraft painting. Coordinates with maintenance in the preparation of aircraft painting.
* Coats surfaces of aircraft, support equipment, and allied components with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices.
* Removes old paint from aircraft, using liquid paint remover and scraper as well as blasting with plastic media.
* Smooths surface with sandpaper and steel wool.
* Roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to ensure that paint adheres to surface.
* Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted.
* Paints insignia, letters, or numerals on aircraft surface using stencils
* Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Painters are responsible for painting homes; primarily interior, in accordance with company standards as well as other site job responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for routine painting of both the exterior and interior of homes, common areas and community offices and buildings.
Perform all painting in accordance with schedule issued by management.
Apply texture to ceilings and walls using an air texture applicator and hopper.
Ensure proper protection of unpainted surfaces through the use of drop cloths/tarps, tape and masking and paint shields.
