Painters pay scale: $16.00-$25.00-Two years' experience:
Completes set-up duties at the job site, moving items, covering items with sheeting and covering floors and grounds with drop cloths for interior and exterior of jobs. Not afraid of heights and able to operate man lift.
Prepares surfaces for painting, which includes repairing holes and cracks, sealing stains, and sanding surfaces for interior jobs or removing loose paint, scuff sanding areas, and caulking gaps and cracks to prevent water intrusion for interior and exterior jobs.
Cleans up daily and after the job is complete, which includes moving all items back to desired locations and sweeping/vacuuming floors, carpets, and grounds for interior and exterior jobs, by removing paint chips or other debris for exterior and interior jobs, and removing all job materials as required.
Inspects work to ensure that the job is 100% complete at the highest quality before reviewing the project with the customer to ensure their satisfaction.
Understands and executes work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Maintains strict attention to detail when working at customers' properties.
Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies by always respecting the clients and the clients' property.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Ensures that required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards.
Maintains positive relationships with customers. Must be able to operate a boom lift, and Scissor lift. Must have reliable transportation to the main office and work sites.
Tools to perform all work assignments are a plus. Must be able to spray paint walls, trim, doors, and other objects. Must follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards. Must be able to pass a background check.
