Responsibilities:
Performs routine packing tasks involved in the manufacturing of plastic bottles, following the information provided on the traveler.
May be required to operate the box machines, tape and glue gun.
Follows prescribed procedures, performs duties such as packing and insertion of corrugated material.

Ability to print legibly and to fill out forms.
Must be punctual.

The noise level on the production floor is 90dB.
The Production Packers must wear protective foot coverings such as, rubber-soled shoes. Also, must wear earplugs, safety glasses, bump caps and hairnets when on the production floor. No jewelry except a wedding band without stones.
Will frequently lift up to 35 lbs. Also, will be stooping to pick up bottles that are dropped approximately 4% of the day.
Will move both arms constantly form the machine to the box. Usually picks up 2 to 3 bottles per hand.
Must be able to visually detect bottle defects as instructed.
Required to read labels on cartons and match them against the label samples provided in the job packets.
Constant bending, twisting and standing are required on the average of 80% of the day.

The Candler/Packer job is an entry-level position responsible for monitoring and removing poor quality eggs from the machine while in operation and/or packing cartons of eggs in cases, racks, or trays.

As part of our Production team, a Pack Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring that we deliver the highest possible quality product to our customers. Working in a state of the art packaging environment, a Packaging Associate is responsible for executing tasks associated with quality assurance and product packing.
What you'll be responsible for:
Sort, clean, weigh, package and label the strawberries into the appropriate container.
Inspect, and execute quality testing to ensure that each berry meets our rigid standards of quality and that each package shipped out will delight our customers.
Conduct sanitation and hygiene management essential to keep the packaging operation to food safety standards.
Engage in data entry to track the product in and out of inventory.
Work as part of a team to ensure the product is shipped on time.

What we look for in an Packaging Associate:
HS Diploma or GED.
Ability to maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
Attention to detail & ability to recognize imperfections in products/produce.
Prior Experience in a commercial kitchen or commercial packaging operation is a plus!
Food Safety Certification is also a plus!
Basic understanding of Google Sheets
Shift & Schedule:
Either Saturday or Sunday availability is required; Schedules/shifts vary see below.
