About being a Packing Specialist at Easterseals Redwood: The Packing Specialist is responsible for the fulfillment and logistics node of the Production facility to include: document Preparation, Packing, with specific emphasis in/on Shipping.
Reading level which ensures accurate verification of numbers/information on: Purchase Orders, materials, labels, addresses, and Shipping information.
Comfortable with technology. Will be using a computer/lap tap, bar-code reader, printers.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment, serial and lot tracking, site/shipping addresses, etc.
Physically capable of lifting up to 65 lbs, regularly.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, as needed.
Time management- Sense of urgency and timeliness when completing the packing and shipping functions.
Experience with or ability to learn using pallet jack.
Works assigned schedule (9-5 or 10-6), exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands.
Performs other related duties as required.
