Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Provide visual and aesthetic inspection of product
Pack bottles into boxes
Move full cartons of bottles onto pallets or skids
Lift totes of bottles into gaylords to ensure that the gaylord has the correct number of bottles.
Conduct dimensional quality checks as directed
Move packaged product into boxes and or/onto pallets using the proper skid pattern
Empty trash cans at end of shift
Provide direct support for product movement (raw and finished)
Provide general housekeeping duties for assigned area
Make boxes, as necessary
Move finished product from line to staging area using pallet jack.
Responsible for maintaining the Food Safety Program (GMP)
Other duties as assigned

Authorities:
Perform essential functions and assigned duties while communicating any deviations from the requirements to management
Report any safety concerns to management and to shut down any equipment that presents a safety hazard
Identify nonconforming product and segregate into appropriate containment bins so as to not become part of the finished product. This includes making the personnel aware of this nonconformance for further action
Position Hours
Assigned 12-hour schedule
Schedule rotates as follows: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, etc.

+ Flame containers and lids when required.
+ Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders.
+ Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels.
+ When the machine experiences an interruption in production, utilize time to clean up oil, sweep, mop, make boxes or other tasks that may be assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
+ Responsible for housekeeping within working area of assigned machine.
+ Assist with training associates as needed.
+ Various other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Prior experience in fast-paced production environment is highly preferred.
+ Regularly required to stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
+ Good hand-eye coordination is required.
+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
+ Frequent exposure to production floor; required use of PPE including but not limited to: Bump Cap, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hair/beard nets, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.
+ Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions.
+ Must be able to keep-up with the fast-paced production cycles.
+ Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
+ Able to tolerate constant repetition.
+ Must be able to identify alpha / numeric product codes.
+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holiday and over-time.
+ Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
+ Good communication skills--verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate.

What you will be doing:
Support line monitoring activities, alongside the operator to minimize downtime.
Effectively utilize knowledge of part numbers, product, and product requirements to understand and meet production demands.
Effectively troubleshoot and communicate line inconsistencies that cause unsatisfactory final product.
Effectively inspect products to identify and communicate quality deficiencies.
Effectively package products to meet line efficiency requirements.
Contribute to a team environment by cross-training on production equipment and processes to fill in for other operators, packers, and selectors during absences and/or increase in customer demand.
Create a safe workspace by maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas and following safety regulations.
Enjoyment of wearing many hats is necessary.
