PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to /and operate machines
Identify serious problems for maintenance
Assemble and pack boxes with light-weight packaging components consisting of lids and cups
Place boxes of finished goods on skids approximately 24 times per hour
On occasion (up to approximately 6 times per hour) lift cases weighing up to 30lbs. to a height of 6 ft. to put on skids
Push boxes into case sealer
Deliver materials to machines (inserts, film, color, resin, etc.)
Inspect product as per quality standards and pack boxes
Apply proper labels and identification codes to boxes of product
Complete traceability forms and record production data, enter data into computer, verify that correct labels are applied to boxes and production information is correct.
Able to utilize cameras on product line for quality checks

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to effectively function in a broad-based, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision. The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English is a requirement. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be on their feet all day; standing, stooping, squatting, and reaching can be expected along with the lifting of up to 30 lbs. boxes of raw materials and finished goods. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Promotes and adheres to all safety rules and signage; follows all Good Manufacturing Practices
* Picks finished product from the line and places into display tray packages, or cartons

* Communicate with management team regarding any finished good quality issues or concerns that arise on the line
* Construct/assemble display items or trays by folding or erecting cardboard to meet specifications
* Accurately count and record products and materials
* Seal finished cartons and place on pallet as defined by Manufacturing Specification using equipment
* Transport completed pallets to staging area using pallets jacks

1. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
2. Inspect product to insure quality. Set aside product that is below quality standards. Work closely with Leads and alert Mold Tech and Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Watch molds for irregularities or sticking. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position
3. Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles
4. Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders
