At Tatte we bake everything from scratch and use high-quality ingredients. The Pastry Packer is responsible for the overall presentation of our products, making sure that items are packed neatly. This includes being organized and working in a clean and efficient manner and ensure that all product is accounted for and packed correctly for each customer. Packing must be done in a timely manner while also maintaining the quality of our bakery products.
Summary of Responsibilities
Checks all orders prepared by our production team are prepared and packaged neatly
Consolidates all items in an order so they are together ready for hand off to our delivery team
Keeps packing station clean and free of debris, clutter, etc.
Restocks all items that are kept in the packing station
Maintains professional working relationships with all Tatte team members
Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Performs other duties as assigned
Working Conditions/Essential Functions
Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally throughout the day
Constant standing/walking
Occasional stooping, or kneeling
Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s)
Basic math skills required; able to do count, divide, subtract and multiply
Retrieves clipboards and reviews invoices to ensure that they are accurate
Count products
Examine and inspect all items to ensure that quality specifications are met
Must be able to work in 40 degrees Fahrenheit environment for up to 4 hours (intermittently) per 8 hours shift

A Brief Summary of This Position
