Little Words Project is looking for a Temporary Picker and Packer for our new warehouse in Mountainside, NJ. The Picker/Packer is responsible for ensuring accurate order picking, packaging, and preparation for shipment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are key. Please note, this is a temporary position from March 17 to May 20. Responsibilities: Accurately locate, retrieve, and verify items based on order specifications. Apply shipping labels and prepare packages in accordance with carrier requirements. Assist with inbound/outbound shipping Ensure timely processing and shipment of all orders. Conduct final inspections to confirm order completeness and accuracy before shipping. Promptly report any missing, incorrect, or damaged items to the supervisor. Assist with inventory organization and participate in regular cycle counts. Assist with inventory and replenishment Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records. Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling procedures for all products and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or e-commerce logistics environment (a plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting. Ability to lift and move packages as needed (up to 50 lbs). Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners (a plus). Must be available during blackout periods including; Mid November through December 20th and the month prior to Mother's Day This is a temporary position from March 17 to May 20.

Ability to count, grab, stack, and place filters onto conveyors (or in poly bags) in a manner which maintains quality standards and production speeds. Ability to follow verbal or written direction. Ensure the correct bags for the job are being used; when necessary, load the correct bags onto the tray Verify the filters are centered in the bag as they are discharged from the auto bagger Verify the lot number and time stamp are on the bags. When the bags are discharged from the auto bagger, ensure they are straight and upright so they feed properly into the auto sealer. Remove unbagged filters from the conveyor belt (to the sealer) and place the filters into the recycle bin. If the sealer belt breaks, turn off the auto bagger and sealer. Advise the lead person and the machine operator to shut off the machine. Ability to place the correct amount of finished units into the master. Ability to sit or stand for eight hours.
