POSITION SUMMARY:
Set up equipment/work area in preparation for startup, and responsible for filling and making boxes, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for picking up empty boxes from the conveyor line and quickly packing with product.
Responsible for hand making boxes as needed for certain products.
Responsible for checking product going into boxes to assure all quality characteristics are met.
Responsible for making decisions and acting on material to be used.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
All other duties as assigned.
Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.

A Brief Overview

Ability to properly align 6-9 assembled boxes at the machine, without blocking aisles or exits.
Establish if order requires caps or not. If order requires caps, liner is to be folded over bottles and caps inserted at the top of filled box of product. If no caps required to ship order, insert liner into box so liner can be folder over bottles prior to sealing. Boxes are then placed on a conveyor.
Once boxes reach the end of conveyor, product must be random sampled to check for visible defects. If any defect is found, it is to be reported immediately to your supervisor.
After inspection, fold liner over product to avoid contamination.
Retrieve label from label machinery and place on completed box. Proper placement and fitting is required.
Labeled boxes are to be placed on cooling skids for approx. 60 minutes before stacking on finish skid. 6-12 boxes may be cooling at any one time.
After cooling is complete, seal box with tape gun and stack on to finished skid. Labels are to be visible. There are certain stacking requirements that must be followed.

Job Summary: The Contractor shall provide Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician and Shipper/Packer services in accordance with the specifications contained herein to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). The contractor must supply all management, supervision, and labor necessary to provide non-personal staffing services to support operations at the CMOP that is in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP): The CMOP supports all fifty states, Washington D. C., Puerto Rico, and US Territories and processes over 130 million prescriptions per year. Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) located in Murfreesboro, TN, supports all fifty states, Washington D. C., Puerto Rico, and US Territories and processes over 15 million prescriptions per year.
The CMOP utilizes a combination of automated and manual procedures to prepare and dispense Over-The-Counter (OTC) and legend drug prescriptions, controlled substance prescriptions, bulk type prescriptions, and medical/surgical products directly by mail to patients. The nature of services includes the operation and support of automated and manual filling equipment, and the preparation of prescription orders for mail-out dispensing.

Primary Responsibilities:
