Shall rotate positions every 15 minutes.
Shall replenish rolls of wrap (approximate weight 45 lbs.) on the wrapper stand and when roll is empty or during changeovers to a different product.
Shall remove and replace the boxes of stickers (approximate weight 22 lbs.) into the mechanical stickers. During sticker jams, the packer helps insert the sticks manually into the product and helps remove the product not removed by the picker arms.
Shall open cases of cartons (approximate weight 20 lbs.) and fill the carton magazines to the proper level with cartons.
Shall work together to maintain their work environment in a clean and orderly manner by picking up trash, hosing down the floors and squeegeeing as needed.
Responsible for the proper filling of the consumer packages. They are responsible for removing empty wraps, tape wraps, and mechanically damaged product.
Shall observe the product, machinery, ingredients and supplies and notify the supervisor and/or the machine operator of any and all abnormalities.
