The Greenville (GREE) Production Department is committed to providing high quality products and service that meet our customer's expectations. The production area is the hub of our operations and rely upon the right balance of technology, teamwork and skilled employees to meet our customer needs. This entry-level position gives the foundation for building a solid career path within our organization. As a member of the GREE Production Team, you will report to the Shift Supervisor and will work closely with various team members to achieve a cohesive unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines
Know emergency procedures and what to do in the event of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.

The Case Packer Operator is responsible for operating the Case Packer associated with the line the employee has been assigned to in an efficient manner. Employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with close attention to detail through many changes. This role reports to the Production Supervisor on their shift and is based out of our Hendersonville, North Carolina location.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operate a case packing, case former, and case sealing production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
Control and adjust machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
Know the purpose and follow proper operation of all safety switches, interlocks and safety devices

+ **Be an Expert:** Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; following recipes/make-up instructions; wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment; and demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution..
+ **Be a Techie:** Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizing hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
+ **Be an Owner:** Ensures commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures; ensuring quality and date control standards for bakery items; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminating waste; assisting members with purchasing decisions; and ensuring merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00*
