Performs shipping functions of both hazardous/non-hazardous material using a variety of options, including creating and delivering counter to counter shipments for air transport.
Reviews the computer system daily for open requisitions to determine if requested parts/materials are still needed and to cancel/delete outdated requisitions. Conducts inventory cycle counts. Accurately reports discrepancies.
Works with different departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed to support the organization.
Conducts monthly self-audits including shelf life, hazardous shipping files and various FAA audits.
Maintains tooling needed to perform maintenance tasks.
Maintains a secure, clean and orderly stockroom per Company policies and procedures and FAA requirements.
Ensures compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations. Follows and complies with all Environmental Protection Agency polices that impact the airline.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Distribute product to respective Authentication departments (Jewelry, Ready-To-Wear, Men's, Shoes & Accessories, and Handbags)
Ensure sorting racks are full and product is distributed evenly
Quality controlling every item at pick-up, ensuring everything has a receiving ticket
Transfer rejected items to consignor returns department
Work with Lead Receivers to ensure VIP consignments are given to the proper authentication teams
Stock Receiving Desk with supplies (hangers, containers, plastic sleeves, printer paper, etc.)
Distribute inbound boxes and/or bags to Receiving, keeping multiple bag consignments together
Help keep Receiving area organized by condensing and organizing consignments in the staging area
Operate manual pallet jack to move product and pallets throughout the warehouse (training will be provided)
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
6+ months of experience working in a warehouse production environment
Proven ability to excel in a high-volume, repetitive, quota-driven environment
Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Adaptability and openness to change
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds (moving and sorting product, etc.)
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
Ability to read and write in English
Preferred Requirements:
Proficiency with Mac OS and Google Suite

The expected hourly range for this role is $16.00 - $16.50. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Specialist Departments, Registrars, and Operations staff to move property throughout the building
Receive, open, tag and scan property as directed
Move property to and from loading docks, departmental storage exhibition locations
Obtain all property location information from the Registrar
Transport property to and from loading dock, department storage, and exhibition locations
Prepare exhibition space including but not limited to placement of movable walls, pedestals, platforms and other display material
Place property for display, including but not limited to onto shelves or platforms, hanging or mounting property onto walls, and assembling property
Stand exhibition and assist clients in viewing property (remove from wall or case, move furniture, etc.)
General exhibition lighting
Maintain safe property handling
Function as helper on the truck or van, if any
Perform other tasks consistent with these responsibilities as required
Maintain cleanliness and appropriate presentation of exhibition and back of house spaces and equipment
Property handlers must be well groomed and in the proper uniform which must be worn and pressed at all times
