Transloading Operations: Efficiently transload freight between ULDs, trucks, and other transportation modes, ensuring minimal delay and maximum safety.
Cargo Handling: Safely handle various types of cargo, including hazardous materials, perishable goods, and oversized items, while following proper loading/unloading procedures.
ULD Management: Inspect and prepare ULDs for transloading, ensuring they are in good condition and meet all safety standards before use.
Documentation: Accurately complete required documentation for transloading operations, including inventory counts, condition reports, and regulatory compliance paperwork.
Compliance and Safety: Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to cargo handling, equipment operation, and hazardous materials.

* Responsible for unloading packages of various sizes from air cans in a safe and efficient manner.
* Sort packages based on alpha-numeric codes and/or zip codes. Placing them in a bin or by pallets for scanning.
* Pull packages that are missorted to wrong destination or damaged and place in designated area.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The Material Handler coordinates and expedites the sourcing, purchasing, and flow and delivery of parts and materials required to manage and operate a Contractor Operated Parts Store (COPARS) physically located in Building 385 at the Transportation Department, Marine Corps Base, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the primary contact for commercial customers, ensure efficient delivery of products (parts-handling), and complete appropriate documentation for record-keeping and compliance (quality according to contract);
Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts; processes returns and reconciles accounts
Procure, inspect, store, maintain, and issue new and remanufactured or rebuilt parts and materials commercially available in a typical automotive parts store and as coordinated by mechanics;
Provide customer services associated with the provision of a full-service, walk-in and walk-out commercial retail operation, including a TRDI-owned and managed inventory operating out of the COPARS facility;
Ensure parts, materials and services are made available to authorized Motor Transportation mechanic personnel;
Schedule and confer with mechanic's supervisors to determine parts or materials required or overdue; locate materials from sources selected by the Parts Specialist;
Establish delivery sequences for the mechanics according to job order priorities and anticipate availability of parts and materials;
Arrange for in-house transfer of parts or materials to meet mechanics' schedules;
Monitor and control movement of material and parts from the moment they are ordered to the time they are delivered to the Marine Corps Base
Supervise a part-time Material Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under TRDI's Insurance Policy
3+ years of advanced knowledge of automotive parts is required; ASE Certified preferred
2+ years of knowledge and experience that is found in a commercial auto and equipment parts providers.
2+ years of using remote-control panel board, compute amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of parts and mechanical processes and using computer and software designed to keep track of point of sales, inventory, parts requested and parts ordered and delivered and installed on specific vehicles or equipment;
Be Customer service oriented, demonstrate high level of integrity; and excellent communication skills.

Our stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate store coverage. Part-time associates may be scheduled to work any part-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position supports the main sortation, mail sortation, and audit processes as assigned. The sortation process is fluid based on the pallets received and the split between large packages and small packages/envelopes. This process is currently scheduled for an evening to early morning operation. This job is a 5 day per week job. The sortation operation is conducted 7-days per week. Work on the weekends is required.
Pay Range:
$18/ hourly
Loyalty Bonus Program- For each hour worked, a loyalty incentive of $2 per hour will be put into an account for each employee. Loyalty bonuses will be paid out every three months at the beginning of the following quarter (January, April, July, October)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for unloading packages of various sizes from air cans in a safe and efficient manner.
Sort packages based on alpha-numeric codes and/or zip codes. Placing them in a bin or by pallets for scanning.
Pull packages that are missorted to wrong destination or damaged and place in designated area.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Immediately report any unsafe working conditions to supervisor and/or manager.
Follow scanning process and accurately scan packages to the pallet/shuttle/bag.
Follow proper procedure for building stable pallets and shuttles for transport.
Utilize pallet jacks to move and stage all pallets for auditing and transport to post office.
Work as a team moving loaded and empty ULDs between dolly transport to static racks safely and in all weather conditions.
Attend daily pre-sort and post-sort meetings.

Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one's head if required at location. Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location. Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location. Able to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. The ability to communicate both timely and effectively, in a noisy operations environment, is required.
Job Conditions

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations.
