We are looking for a motivated DevOps Co-op to join our engineering team and gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. This role will allow you to work closely with experienced DevOps engineers, software developers, and IT teams to help improve the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. Responsibilities: * Assist in managing and automating cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) to streamline software deployments. * Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes. * Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, logs, and security incidents. * Write scripts and automation tools in Python, Bash, or Terraform to improve workflow efficiency. * Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure reliability. * Participate in infrastructure as code (IaC) development and configuration management. * Document processes, configurations, and best practices for internal use. Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program. * Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. * Basic experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). * Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD concepts. * Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. * Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
