Qualifications:

Knowledge of governing industry standards such as NFPA, IBC and others

Our Franchise is seeking someone who is a rare “high achiever” to fill a key leadership role. As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, training, and motivating the sales and marketing team. You will drive our marketing campaigns, including e-marketing resources, oversee the contact database, develop presentation materials, and maintain an active presence at local and regional association and trade show events. You will also drive our annual sales plan to result in the achievement of annual sales revenue goals, building brand awareness, an increase in new customers, and expansion of diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities
Understand the competitive advantages of using SERVPRO and gain the ability to effectively educate clients and customers about brand benefits
Prepare a sales and marketing plan based on past performance and franchise growth objectives to meet and/or exceed planned revenue and activities goals for the business development team
Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships with contacts in our sales territory and seek to develop new prospects and leads to ensure revenue growth
Complete annual marketing needs assessment, including planning the number of CE classes, lunch-and-learns, scheduling the budget, and developing action plans for business decisions
Perform a comparative analysis of revenue, collection, and activities metrics vs established goals
Develop marketing initiatives and budget to create an annual marketing plan
Recruit, train, develop, and manage sales and marketing teammates
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience preferred
Five + years sales, marketing, or customer service experience, with demonstrated history of sales ability and growth is required
Experience with in-person, social media, and digital marketing development is required
Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
Strong process and results driven attitude
Experience with professional sales or marketing associations a plus
Experience in the cleaning, restoration, or insurance industry is preferred
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel RequirementsThis is a full-time, salaried, exempt position working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Normal schedule is varying 8.5-hour shifts Monday - Friday between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Due to required attendance at or coordination of business, marketing, and community events, this position frequently requires long hours, evening work, and weekend work beyond normal hours. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Each SERVPRO Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated.
