We are looking for a Petroleum driver within a 50-mile radius of Omaha, NE. to deliver petroleum-based products in bulk, transport them via Semi-Truck and Trailer, and unload products at various customer locations. The position has a flexible schedule of either a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
Responsibilities:
Loading Petroleum products at refineries, ethanol plants, and bulk storage facilities.
Unloading Petroleum products at numerous customer locations such as gas stations, airports, refineries, and bulk storage facilities.
Ability to pump on and off petroleum and ethanol products using a Power Take Off.
Dropping, hooking and connecting trailers to semi-truck. This includes manually raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer with up to 50 pounds of torque resistance.
Hooking up hoses and fittings to load and unload these Petroleum products safely and securely.
Checking customer tank levels prior to unloading to make sure tanks do not fill past 90% ullage.
Properly using vapor recovery hose at all loading and unloading locations.
Reaching, pulling and pushing Petroleum hoses weighing up to 50 lbs.
Climbing up ladder on trailer to check tank and levels and make sure the load is secured.
The maximum weight the ladder can accommodate is 450 pounds with a 200 pound at the top of the trailer.
Climbing in and out of Semi-Truck using 3 points of contact.
Loading exactly what petroleum products, appropriate quantities, and correct suppliers on all loads per dispatch instructions.

* Responsible for maintaining accurate product identification, traceability and material status and accurately:
* Transfer product in and out of the Warehouse rack system.
* Transport raw, in process, or finished goods materials into and out of the production area. Includes rejected/questionable material, Experimental and Validation materials.
* Transport hazardous materials into and out of production areas.
* Recycle/remove waste as needed.
* Reporting damaged materials as detected.
* Maintain complete, accurate and legible records.
* Conduct SAP/MES transactions.
* Must be able to safely operate electric forklifts (stand up and sit down), electric pallet jacks, slip sheeting equipment and material tuggers.
* Must achieve and maintain forklift certification
* Unload the railcar unloading system.

Education:
* High School diploma/GED preferred
Experience:
* Commercial driver's license in Class "A", "B", and "C" per Nebraska State Law LB285 within 30 days of accepting the job required.

Perform the protocol established for loading/unloading distillers/synergy.
Follows all regulations and laws, maintaining DOT and DMV standards with regards to safe transport.
Completes pre- and post-trip inspections, checking for defects. Checks all equipment including lights, brakes, tires, etc. Replenishes fluids such as fuel, oil and water.
Maintains a daily driver's log in compliance with Company policy and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and adheres to such.
