DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support juvenile/adult offenders according to Program contracts Schedule service-learning and community service opportunities for Diversion participants Utilize the Initial Contact Checklist for every victim Advocate for victim(s)' level of involvement and voice within the program Interview and assess Diversion applicants and facilitate repair panels/circles Participate in training of Diversion panel members Schedule Diversion participants in front of the Diversion Panel and attend and facilitate Diversion Panels Contact all identified victim (s) and notify them that the case has been referred to Court Diversion or Tamarack on the same day but no later than five business days after the participant applies to participate in the Program Supports teens and young adults to connect with positive and empowering adult supports empowering and affirming individuality and autonomy. Identifies barriers to success for individual youth and makes accommodations as needed to support completion of the program Consistently and effectively employs and utilizes Program assessment tools for screening Engages participants in meaningful and reflective dialogue about the assessment results Assists all stakeholders including the participant's parents, attorneys, the court, and others, to ensure that contracts are successfully completed. Communicates with local law enforcement agencies as outreach for the program and to resolve any issues relating to its implementation. Communicates regularly with supervisor and provides feedback regarding program successes, challenges, and needs for additional support Ensures compliance with all Program required record-sealing procedures Core Competencies: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, check-cashing and cash handling policies and procedures. Maintains personal bank bag for the season and is responsible for end of season cash up. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell sites and promote resort services, including hotel and retail items. Sends daily recap for shift, every shift including hotel front desk, housekeeping manager and lodging director for continuity. Uses proper telephone etiquette, including answering the phone within 3 rings during operating hours, and all messages within the next business day. Opens the sugar shack, clears sugar shack, takes out garbage and sorts recycling. Takes campground reservations using Little Hotelier website and processes sales through Siriusware. Updates and takes thorough notes on campers, reservations, etc. in the Little Hotelier system. Cleans campsites daily and helps with landscaping and maintenance when necessary. Cleans bathrooms and showers daily and ongoing as necessary. Stocks bathrooms as needed through the day. Maintains reservation board daily. Informs all campers of the rules and regulations, but does not participate in any high-risk activity. Violations of the rules should be taken on a case by case basis and safety of the attendant is the highest priority. All illegal activities will be reported immediately and suspicious activity will be monitored closely. Keeps inventory of retail, food and beverage and housekeeping stock daily and puts weekly orders together for vendors. Stocks firewood as needed. Maintains effective, open and professional communication with front desk, housekeeping/janitorial staff, maintenance and all internal departments and external guests Maintains the security of the sugar shack and all product therein by following proper locking and key protocol. Participates in all department meetings. Takes initiative to research and innovate sales strategies for selling sites, including finding things for guests to do around the areas, presenting package ideas, finding scholarly resources for customer service trainings and ideas to better the property. Reports maintenance issues immediately and is always vigilant about checking the building and grounds for operational or safety issues that need to be addressed. Closes the toll road at dusk each night. Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or un-related to original position.
