Based in Los Angeles, Ordermark works hard to save restaurants time and money. Through the company's platform, every order from major online ordering services goes to one tablet and printer. The company's products and services help restaurants adapt to changing consumer trends and technology, as more and more people are starting to use companies like Grubhub for delivery. Located near the tech hub Playa Vista, Ordermark's goal is to become a trusted partner for restaurants all over the world.

Diving Into the Values at Ordermark

The company got its start in a deli. CEO and Co-founder Alex Canter is the fourth-generation owner of Canter's Deli, which is a famous Jewish deli in L.A. She was the restaurant's director of business development from 2009-17. Throughout that time she realized they were having a hard time keeping track of all of the online delivery tablets. Thus Ordermark was born.

The Team at Ordermark

Make Your Mark

The people who make up Ordermark are central to the culture they've built. Since the team is truly behind every success, the company goes out of its way to ensure the team feels appreciated and cared about.

The Ordermark team is known for being made up of people from diverse backgrounds. They are leaders, collaborators, innovators and relationship-builders. They all work together to simplify processes for their customers.

The employees are always doing the right thing, whether its in the best interest of the company or if it's in their everyday life. That's something the entire team carries with them. The team is supportive of one another through new ideas, making tough decisions and taking risks.

All in all, the team all shares the same goal of helping restaurant owners become pros at online ordering. When it comes to celebrating successes, the team does so together because without everyone's help that success wouldn't have been possible.

Most importantly, the team is all on the same page. They understand that they'll never reach the company's goal without working as a unified and dedicated team. If you haven't realized already, that team element is an absolute priority for the company's culture. It's their secret to success.

The team is built of world-class thinkers and innovators who are passionate about making a difference in the company and industry. They're people who want to impact lives. While the entire team is constantly collaborating, sometimes it's not within the same office. In fact, a good portion of the team is in different time zones. And this is done on purpose. The company believes that these types of experiences build a stronger community and bring in new ideas.

Giving Back at Ordermark

Serving Those in Need

Helping those in need is a big part of the culture at Ordermark, that's why they came up with OrdermarkCares. This organization makes sure free meals are delivered to low-income families that have children who are battling serious illnesses. The company's goal is to create special moments and lasting memories through good food.

OrdermarkCares locates restaurant workers who have children or parents that are in and out of hospitals. With the partnerships of restaurants, food delivery platforms and donors, the families receive free delicious meals. The meals can be delivered to a home or the hospital.

"Growing up in the restaurant industry, I've seen the impact that kindness and hospitality can have on those in need," said Canter. This is the kind of culture they've built at Ordermark. One that is caring and giving.
