We are seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver to join our team! You will be delivering building material to job sites throughout the area. You will be primarily operating aCDL B Straight Truck with Crane/Boom.
Previous Crane/Boom experience preferred, if you don't have it, we will provide training as certification will be required. Rear mounted forkliftexperience is also a plus, but we will provide training for the right candidate. Safety is the number one priority at J&L, and we are looking for qualified drivers with clean driving records.
Must be able to drive split shift manual transmission without automatic restriction on CDL.The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years experience driving a large commercial vehicle and excellent customer service skills.
Compensation
Pay range is$25.65-$29hourly depending on experience

Scope
Under general direction from the Production Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for safely assembling finished product using components, sub-assemblies, fasteners and packaging material following all SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and in compliance with all quality and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
* Review and follow all SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), Work Instructions and/or drawings to determine required assembly finish on product, pack and any special options to completion.
* Check and maintain accurate inventory of sub-assemblies, parts and fasteners to complete production orders.
* Safely operate power hand tools and heavy shop machines, as well as operate controls and safety stops on machines to make working models with moving parts.
* Carry out finishing processes like hand painting with strong attention to detail.
* Meet all production output goals as aligned with PPLH (Parts Per Labor Hour) standards and budget targets
* Follow all Company safety policies, rules and procedures at all times; maintain a strong safety mindset. Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed.
* Accurate completion of all documentation and production reporting following all Company, Quality and Regulatory guidelines. Maintain accurate records of time spent and material used within established standards.
* Perform basic arithmetic calculations for accurate production reporting.
* Operate scan guns for production order processes and inventory.
* Work and communicate in a team environment and/or independently as needed to achieve successful production and quality goals.
* Promptly raise any safety, quality or production issues to appropriate parties, and work with support functions to quickly resolve issues.
* Ability to cross train and rotate between various areas within the department throughout the shift.
* Assist with training new full time and/or temporary employees as needed in compliance with all safety, quality and production policies, rules and procedures.

General Summary:
This position will be responsible for performing all warehouse functions within our high volume, fast-paced warehouse facility including manufactured finished goods and the case pick, full pallet pick and loading of all outbound orders.
Essential Functions:
* Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area.
* Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments according to schedule in terms of correct SKU and quantity versus bills of lading.
* Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts, physical inventories, etc. for package materials and finished goods.
* Safe operation of all material handling equipment, including stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
* Utilization of computerized WMS (warehouse management system) for all assigned work.
* Single case pick utilizing voice-to-pick software system.
* Ensure that case picked pallets are stacked in such a manner that the consignee can obtain an accurate count of product upon receipt of the order.
* Ensure that product is unitized per CHD packaging specifications.
* Verify lot codes of assigned product, including proper documentation and record keeping.
* Ensure that orders are loaded according to standard loading and weight patterns minimizing any damage to product.

The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. Operates a tank truck flusher.

Typical Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
Graduation from High School or completion of a GED is required.
A minimum of two (2) years documented on-the-job experience in operating heavy motor equipment on a regular basis is required.
A minimum of one (1) year documented experience in making mechanical repairs and adjustments and servicing heavy motor equipment is required.
Bureau of Streets
Snow removal experience required, including plowing of public roadways and alleys.
Paving experience required, including the operation of all related paving equipment.
Licenses, Certificates, and Additional Information
Possession of a valid Class B commercial driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. Class A commercial driver's license is preferred. Tanker endorsement and/or ability to obtain the tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire.
Must be trained and certified in trench and excavation safety, and be able to be trained as a Competent Person within 60 days of hire
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of safe practices related to Public Works.
Ability to operate a vehicle on private and public streets is required.
