We operate six regional construction materials businesses and a national Building Materials business in the United States, supplying aggregate-based materials and contracting services to a wide range of projects including large, publicly financed infrastructure projects, commercial, and residential developments. The core business of producing crushed stone and sand and gravel is enhanced by value adding operations that produce ready mixed concrete, asphalt, and concrete products. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Runs dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and/or asphalt materials. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner. Operates equipment, loading material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant. Moves earth or other materials from one location to another. Runs paving/grading equipment. Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. They set up, operate, and tend machines that extrude and coat flat films from synthetic materials. In this position you will set up and operate production equipment including blown film extruders, silicone coaters, and slitter/rewinders. You will work both independently and with a team to meet and exceed customers' specifications and timeframes. Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, and temperatures, and amounts, dimensions, and flow of materials or ingredients. Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices such as templates, micrometers, or scales. Activate machines to shape or form products, such as candy bars, light bulbs, balloons, or insulation panels.
