The Field Surveyor/Trimble Operator Position
The Field Surveyor/Trimble Operator is responsible for laying out field points, including underground, above ground, roof, and penetrations using Trimble equipment. The position involves operating and maintaining Trimble equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors to accurately collect field layout points.
The Field Surveyor/Trimble Operator collaborates and coordinates with construction documents and spool drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and accurate alignment with project requirements. Additionally, the individual must have the ability to export data to DWG and other formats to facilitate seamless project collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Safely operate pumps, compressors, reactors, distillation columns and other plant equipment within safe operating range
2. Make changes to the operating process necessary to maintain product quality
3. Monitor the performance of plant equipment and process conditions. Read flow meters and temperature and pressure gauges. Take routine readings on process variables.
4. Operate control room instrumentation systems

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and reliable Chemical Production Operator to maintain and operate heavy machinery and equipment for our client's chemical processing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our production processes through meticulous equipment maintenance, careful handling of chemicals, and accurate data recording. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
Machine Operation & Batch Mixing: Operate machinery and mix chemical batches according to precise manufacturing instructions.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements.
Quality Control: Conduct daily quality inspections, including measurements and data recording.
Material Handling & Packaging: Package materials appropriately and restock raw materials according to SAP work instructions.
Chemical Handling: Safely store, retrieve, mix, and monitor chemicals used in the production process.
Data Recording: Accurately record information such as ingredients, weight, and temperature.
Material Transport: Assist in unloading drum trailers and transport materials using a forklift (hilo).
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes.
Safety & Compliance: Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns, and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
Process Improvement: Assist in planning and improving production processes.

Equipment: Company provides new boots every 6 months, prescription eyewear reimbursement, and a respirator.
Training: Training will be provided by Stephanie in Wixom, MI.
Forklift Requirement: Must have prior forklift (hilo) experience.

Summary:
Operators for Fessler & Bowman will perform a variety of tasks that assist in the completion of projects. It is crucial to have the skills necessary to work as a valued team member for F&B to provide the type of service our customers have come to expect. To perform this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Operate heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, loader) in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
· Efficiently be able to operate machines for earth moving, pipe installation & grading operations
Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience with earthwork and civil construction
· Willingness to learn and follow all safety policies and requirements
· This position requires climbing, kneeling, bending and crawling often as well as the ability to work on ladders, platforms and mechanical lifts
· Must be able to understand English
· Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Travel:
Travel may be required for this position as the employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. F&B will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.
