WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Runs dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and/or asphalt materials.
Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Operates equipment, loading material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant. Moves earth or other materials from one location to another. Runs paving/grading equipment.
Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. May maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels or perform minor repairs as needed.
Completes are paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required

- Load materials into extruding and coating machines, by proper weighing, and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.
- Start metering pumps and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous flow of silicone coatings.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to determine correct film production parameters and quality specifications. Record details of machine malfunctions.
- Keep machinery and work area clean. Wipe finish rollers with cloths and wash finish trays with solvent when necessary.
- Ensure quality of film and raw materials meets and exceeds customer and company standards with training in a lab as a QA tester.
