Summary:
Rewinder Operators are essential to the finishing stages of our Production process. Operators utilize a Celli/Rewinder machine to slit and rewind large rolls of our non-woven materials into smaller rolls for transportation to our customers around the world. Operators must understand the various cores used and the different specifications for all product rolls, while taking care to monitor for any defects, wrap rolls with high quality, and apply labels to the rolls with correct details.
Shifts: 12-hour shifts on 2-2-3 schedule. Night Shift 7pm-7am or Day Shift 7am-7pm.
Pay: Starting at $19+/HR. depending on position, education and experience; $2 night shift differential for each hour worked.

Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain a working knowledge of the sequential Control Logic that oversees the operation of the line
Understand the different classifications of cores used, such as core thickness, core diameter etc.
Know all the specifications used to define the product rolls such as length, weight, diameter.
Utilize the Avanti software to log in specific details and product specifications.
Actively watch the material running to identify any defects; must be able to identify the various types of defects.
Responsible for flagging sections of jumbo with any defects or issues using proper color code.
Operate an overhead crane and vertical wrapper.
Change shaft extractors for respective core diameters used.
Correctly set knives; must know how to adjust and replace knives as needed.
Carry out functions of the wrapper i.e. set Film Tension, replace Shrink Wrap into Carrier, thread wrapper.
Read and interpret information on labels; apply labels onto rolls.
Identify the different colors of labels and understand the significance of each type.
Utilize appropriate cardboard side covers for final product (rolls).
Distinguish between an FDA Product and non-FDA product and follow proper FDA rules and protocols when applicable.
Collect standard samples and for QA testing.
Add re-feed to the machines as needed.
Perform manual/automatic operations of the Rewinder.
Read, fill and understand Operator Panel.
Know parts and locations of Celli operating devises, such as alarms and lock system.
Initiate E-Stops under necessary usage conditions.
Perform routine maintenance procedures.
Work across multiple lines, as needed.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed and utilize proper PPE.
Keep work station clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a hot/non-climate controlled environment.
Must be able to stand for 12-hour shift.
Must be able to perform extensive walking; climbing multiple stairs throughout the shift.
Job requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to push, pull, lift items from the ground, bend at the knee and waist, and reach above shoulders.

Responsibilities
1. Starts-up the equipment following approved procedures. Monitors quality of products.
2. Performs set-up and cleaning of equipment.
3. Performs machine work following approved procedures and in accordance with QSR, ISO and safety regulation. Records required information in the Batch Control Record in a neat and orderly manner.
4. Maintains Equipment under own responsibility in good conditions.
5. Notifies Shift Leader or Manufacturing Facilitator of any deviation from normal operation. Assists in troubleshooting and in performing corrective action for equipment malfunction or breakdown.
6. Maintains own production area clean and in an orderly manner.
7. Operates filling manufacturing equipment as required.
8. Inspects own work. Records information in appropriate documentation in an orderly and neat fashion. Deals with routine situations with occasional variables that require interpretation.
9. Active participation in Lean Activities.
10. Supports other productions lines during short periods of time, as needed.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
A. Education:
* Minimum of High School diploma.
B. Experience
* Minimum of one year of experience in a Manufacturing environment, preferred.
* Able to understand overall concepts in written English and Spanish.
* Requires constant moving and lifting objects. Continuous walking or standing.

Role Summary:
Learn the overall operation and maintenance of the terminal, pipeline, marine, and truck loading rack assets as applicable. Basic understanding of the following: executing the receipt, delivery storage management, and inventory control of petroleum products for the field location.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
Train and apply knowledge for the maintenance and minor repair of the terminal loading rack, storage and all equipment associated with terminal operations; keeping it in good working order and acceptable appearance. Maintain facility to meet or exceed company standards. Help analyze and solve problem situations.
Learn and train to be Responsible for receipt, storage, and distribution of petroleum products via pipeline and marine dock (if applicable), following all product movement, measurement and quality control procedures.
Become knowledgeable of petroleum terminal regulations. Stay aware of all environmental regulations, safety directives and operating procedures, to include Coast Guard, local, state and federal environmental agencies so that the terminal can assure compliance.
Ensure that management is apprised of any area or issue that should be addressed regarding regulatory compliance including health, safety, security and environmental.
Maintain a good relationship with all terminal customers and respond to their inquiries and needs as required.
Following training, respond to terminal, pipeline, truck loading rack, and marine related emergencies when called upon to do so. Participate in annual emergency response training drills.
Responsible for the operation of all computer inventory control systems and participate in any inventory issue investigations.
Be familiar with pipeline operations, handle pipeline product movements at the terminal and assist with other pipeline duties such as one call investigations if applicable, etc.

Candidate should be able to perform at least on one of these manufacturing stages (Dispensing, Formulation or coating) as an expert level. Otherwise, being able to run the compression stage. In addition, able to skillfully perform bulk packaging and inspection manufacturing stages, as well. Following Manufacturing Orders and Standard Operating Procedures, be able to operate, clean, assembly and disassembly any of the manufacturing equipment associated to the designated area. Manage raw materials and intermediates to manufacture IPR products within established quality and time standards. Complete all the documentation requirements with a high level of accuracy. Manage the SAP System and keep the inventory and shop floor control updated with a high level of accuracy.
Typical Accountabilities
Knowledge of SOPs, Company Policies, CGMPs, Safety Policies, Procedures and regulations.
Able to run at a basic level in any of the formulation / Bulk pack areas. Otherwise, being able to run the compression stage. In addition, able to perform bulk packaging and inspection manufacturing stages, as well.
Following the manufacturing Order and the Standard Operating Procedures, manufacture IPR products within our quality standard and established times.
Carry out all documentation required prior to, during and after the manufacture of a product. Document any other duty performed as required by the Standard Operating Procedure of the area.

Essential Functions
* Following approved procedures, wash and blend resin to be used in the processing of Bactec Resin used in the Bactec Media products.
* Interpret weighing, mixing and blending instructions on Batch Records.
* Calculate proportions of ingredients following approved procedures.
* Follow the production schedules to stay in sync with department production requirements.
* Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal forms.
* Accurately record all data required by production documentation following QSR and ISO regulations.
* Follow good practices and maintain mixing and blending equipment in good conditions.
* . Follow and ensure housekeeping regulations are followed in accordance to procedures and notify any deviation Active participation in Lean Activities.
* Perform other related duties as.

Qualifications
* High School degree or equivalent
