POSITION SUMMARY
The role of a Blending Operator is to ensure that the product(s) being mixed corresponds with the formula that is being produced. The Blending Operator involves handling, operating, and maintaining blending equipment efficiently. You will be tasked with ensuring proper raw material preparation, verifying mixture specifications, controlling product processing, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of your workspace.
Typical Work Schedule: Varies based on departmental needs
Compensation: $18/hr. + Benefits, Target Annual Bonus and Paid Time Off
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensures accurate blending of raw materials in compliance with established procedures.
· Ensures quality control by conducting regular checks during the blending process.
· Maintains accurate documentation of all blending activities.
· Adheres strictly to health and safety protocols and standards.
· Offload incoming tankers and CIP all transfer lines.
· Ensures blending equipment is properly maintained, including routine inspections, cleaning, and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
· Collaborates with the Freshco team to meet production targets and deadlines.
· All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience in a similar role in manufacturing processing, preferably in a food, pharmaceutical, or chemical environment.
· Ability to adhere to detail-specific recipes.
· Proven ability to operate and maintain industrial blending machinery.
· Awareness of good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
· High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education in a related field could be an advantage.
· Strong basic math and measurement skills.

Equipment Operation:
